A message from Senior Pastor Ken Dyal...

We have three questions for you at The Church at Argyle:

  • How may we pray for you?
  • How may we help you?
  • How is your spiritual life? How is your walk with God?

Prayer is powerful. God wants us to be in His presence and in His will, and it is only through prayer these things happen. We believe that when He promised that what is asked in His Name will be granted, He meant it.

We want to help you. Help may mean you need to connect with concerned, loving people. It may mean that you want your family taught and nurtured. It may mean you need to be encouraged, comforted, or strengthened. It may mean you need more concrete assistance. We want to know how we can help.

Our spiritual walk is important. When everything is done, it is our relationship with God through Jesus Christ that is permanent. If we aren’t growing spiritually, the only lasting thing we possess is being neglected. We want to grow in Christ, and we want you to grow with us.

When you come to Argyle, we aren’t concerned about where you come from, but where you are going. We believe that the Holy Spirit is working in this fellowship, shaping a very diverse group of people into a powerful tool to do God’s work in our community. God’s work is important, and we need your help to do it well.

If you are active in a local church- great! But, if you are looking for a church that is upbeat and celebrative while being Biblically sound, a place that really cares for and nurtures children, a place that values and challenges students, a place that is trying to ask and answer important questions- try our place.

Breaking News...

As many of you have already heard, we were hit by copper thieves Monday night. 12 of our air conditioning units were destroyed or damaged. We even made the Channel 4 news Tuesday evening. When it first occurred we were afraid we would not have repairs done in time to have air conditioning for Sunday. But, through the hard work of our HVAC contractor, it looks like most, if not all, of the work will be complete by Sunday. Check back for more information and pictures soon.

It was previously announced that Student Pastor would be leaving Argyle later in the year. Pastor Ken has announced that our own David Bass will take Rich's place. David has served Argyle in a number of areas- as a musician, on the Student Ministry Team, leading Momentum, and is currently serving as chairman of our deacons. Join us in congratulating David and welcoming him to the staff.
